A few moments. Our spin on them.

01Hello

We couldn't help ourselves.

The animatic already tells the story, and tells it well. We watched it about nine times.

So this isn't a rework and it isn't a note. It's a handful of the biggest moments, photographed the way we'd shoot them, to see how large this thing gets when you lean on it.

Same film. Our hands on it.

02The Build

Somebody has to
build the thing.

The assembly hangar at dusk. Crews out on the scaffolding, cherry-pickers reduced to nothing against the hull, the door standing open onto a wet apron. Get the people right and the ship doesn't have to try.

03Launch

Then you light it.

Launch, then quiet. The last two moments where everything is still going to plan.

04The Pull

“We lost contact. The ship is no longer under our control.”

And then it
stops being ours.

Something arrives that doesn't fit in the frame. The human ship stays in shot the whole way through, so there is always something to measure it against.

05Design

We designed these.

Both ships existed as designs before they existed as shots. Elevations, plans, named parts. Every frame after is art-directed to that reference: the shot is decided first, and the tools are made to deliver it. The hull in the hangar is the same hull in orbit because it was never left to chance. Holding a design that steady across a dozen shots is where this way of working usually falls apart. That is the part we are good at.

Nothing here is a happy accident.

06In Motion

And it moves.

Everything above, moving. The build, the launch, and what takes it.

07The Street

“What started with a simple bring back on social media now is taking over the streets.”

So we put a
news chopper on it.

A real Taco Bell on a real intersection, and a crowd that doesn't end. Then it comes into position over the rooftops, cloud dragging across the hull, and every face goes up at once.

08In Motion

And so does
this one.

The arrival, built out of the frames above.

No treatment, no numbers.

Let's make it permanent.
